Roundabout road works are an absolute pain. Especially if you don’t know the area. Other than that the hotel is pretty decent. Nice staff and nice rooms. Gym is way too small, literally about 10 pieces of equipment in there with a tiny pool.

Not great for Tesla chargers. Only coffee available in the bar after 10 am and no food except cake. Too far to walk anywhere else. Charger also kept stopping. Waste of time.

We stayed only one night at this hotel and it’s very good value for money. The room size was good and the room has most of the necessary stuff. Staff is friendly and supportive and approachable. Lots of parking spaces and I also liked the facilities such as sauna, swimming pool although they opened it at 10 am on the Boxing Day which is relatively late.

This hotel needs a facelift. Rooms are dirty and not very well cleaned. Shortage of staff at all times. Staff eating behind the front desk. Lockers in spa area are filthy food is bland and not much choice as three mains were off the menu. Drinks are expensive and a can of Irn bru is £3:25, a total rip off I would stay well clear. Run down and dirty.

Incredible. Having worked in a double Michelin star Hotel and Restaurant before, I can appreciate it when an establishment nails it, and this place 100% does. The Hotel is beautiful, sports facilities are perfect, the food is mind blowing and the room is literally spotless and huge. But what makes a place like this work as well as it does is the staff. Every single person excelled themselves. Friendly and professional, always wanting to go the extra mile. Can't recommend this place enough!! Thank you!

Our experience at The Landmark Hotel was quite mixed. Our room had a strong, unpleasant smell, likely from cleaning products. The view from the window was disappointing, overlooking a noisy pool motor and a stack of chemical containers. The pool was so small and overcrowded that we didn’t even bother trying it. As for the restaurant, the quality of the dishes did not match the high prices on the menu. However, the breakfast was a standout and very enjoyable.

No lo elegimos, estaba en el paquete del viaje a Escocia del programa de la Comunidad de Madrid para mayores de 55 años. No tiene ascensor para subir a la primera planta y tampoco te facilitan ayuda para subirla por la escalera. Aún con bañera. Las habitaciones necesitan un buen lavado de cara. Teníamos la cena incluida, es lo único que se salvo. No volvería por mi cuenta.

Grim hotel, lovely grounds. Grotty, tiny cold swimming pool and particularly mucky changing rooms with rusty lockers.

A few years ago I would have given this place a 5 star review, unfortunately the hotel has gone downhill and really needs upgraded. The leisure centre is also showing its age although the gym is good. It's still a popular destination but I hope they spend some money and get the place back to the standard it used to be. Some people I know, who used to regularly stay here, would stay elsewhere now.

We checked in on Thursday, and from the outside, the building and grounds are well presented. The team was pleasant at checkin. The rooms, however, are in serious need of an overhaul. All the walls show wear and tear. There were a few stains on the carpet in our room. Moving on to the bathroom, there were cracked tiles around the toilet area. The restaurant and bar area need furniture to be replaced and cleaned.

No food available which was a pain as reception told us to go to restaurant then restaurant said we have a wedding on so that takes priority but there's a KFC 2 miles up the road .fine if you've got a car .service is really poor

We only stayed one night and booked it online at the last minute, but the room was great. It was a Pity we didn't bring any swimwear with us in order to use the leisure club facilities otherwise we would have done so

Our stay here was quite disappointing. We do not drive and were travelling here via public transport and by foot - currently there is only one way to access by foot, via a very concealed hiking trail which we were only able to find thanks to a friendly local! We were not made aware of this ahead of our arrival and consequently ruined our shoes and suitcase wheels having to trundle them through what was essentially a very muddy forest path. Had we known, we would definitely have opted to take a taxi from the centre to avoid this, or at least worn more appropriate shoes!! The food during our stay was not bad but very expensive for what it was. The room was spacious and comfortable; we were big fans of the bed!! The bathroom was clean and had good bath and shower options. The air conditioning in the room did not work however which was frustrating as it was quite warm. We chose this hotel specifically for the pool and spa amenities. While we were able to use the pool on the evening of our arrival, the chlorine content was so high that it stripped some of the coloured dye from my hair! The pool was then closed for the remainder of our stay. Obviously appreciate these things happen but we stayed for four nights and were disappointed that the hotel was unable to resolve the issue before we left.

Good quality mostly modern hotel with lots of amenities including a pool and sauna. You don't stay in the old building, you stay in the new part. Restaurant had good food and great service. The young lady running the bar and restaurant, doing everything, hosting, waitressing, serving, was dealing with a lot of difficult customers and she still was nice and pleasant. I'm surprised that people don't understand that a hotel with close to 100 rooms and a small restaurant can't seat you without a reservation. Make a reservation if you plan on eating in the hotel restaurant. It's common sense. Don't yell at the hostess because she works at a small place, it's not her fault.

Positives: standard rooms, nice showers, clean, lovely grounds and garden. Staff is good as well. Friendly bar staff, surprisingly cozy hotel bar. Negatives: Dinner. Even basic menu items (such as a burger) are just “edible”. School food was better, tbh. Our room wasn’t soundproofed, the clattering in the lobby probably would have kept light sleepers awake all night. Dusty. The hotel seems to be suffering from a lack of care. It could be gorgeous with some new paint, a deep clean of the conservatory etc. But it is still charming (as long as you don’t eat [cooked foods] there)… we would stay there again (but eat somewhere else).

Saving grace for this hotel is the staff besides that we had a superior family room which only had a double bed in on arrival to add the extra bed they wheeled in a camp bed hardly Superior is it. Went to use the pool which was dirty and we had to get out as someone was either filming kids or using a phone by the side of the pool which is clearly marked you cant. All in all left a bit of bad feeling so probably will go elsewhere in future where we get a proper bed for our child
